GYA is delighted to announce a groundbreaking collaboration that will enhance our flag football experience through a partnership with the NFL FLAG league.
With the generous support of the NFL, we offer a well-structured opportunity for kids to explore the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship both on and off the field.
At NFL FLAG, participants not only gain a solid foundation in technique but also have the perfect introduction to mastering the fundamentals of the game. It serves as an excellent starting point for learning catching, throwing, formations, routes, defensive skills, and more.
We recognize that the heart of youth sports goes beyond mastering these fundamentals; it's about being an integral part of a team and, most importantly, savoring the overall experience. Join us at NFL FLAG for a journey where improvement, teamwork, and enjoyment converge seamlessly.
This program is 5 on 5 for 1st-6th graders and 7 on 7 for Junior High students. Teams can combine coed 1st/2nd graders, 3rd/4th grade boys, 5th/6th grade boys and 7th/8th grade boys. We also will offer girls leagues 3rd-5th and 6th-8th. Games will be at Mesquite High School, Highland High or Desert Ridge High School on Thursday evenings.
Dates subject to change. Games will be on Thursday evenings at 5:30pm, 6:30pm or 7:30pm. One hour practice per week to be determine by coach. Teams formed by elementary school and will combine schools if needed. Game location will be determined by home school.
